Ranck & Schwartz, LLC Welcomes Leah C. Schwartz As Managing Partner

Effective June 1, 2019, the firm is pleased to announce that Leah C. Schwartz has become managing partner in the firm where she will continue her civil litigation practice alongside her father and founding partner William P. (“Bill”) Schwartz. After living and working for several years in Cheyenne, Wyoming and gaining experience both as a law clerk and litigator in private practice, Leah is excited to return to her hometown of Jackson where she and her husband, Brad, plan to raise their young boys.

Before joining the firm, Leah had the opportunity to co-counsel with Bill on a number of matters and looks forward to expanding that work serving clients in northwest Wyoming and across the state. Leah’s practice is focused on helping her clients efficiently resolve civil disputes both before and after the filing of litigation, whether through mediation, negotiations with opposing counsel, creative motions practice, or trial. Leah also brings significant experience in the realm of appellate advocacy and served as a law clerk to two federal judges.

While continuing to build her family’s law practice, Leah hopes to honor the legacies of her grandfathers, Robert B. Ranck and William T. Schwartz, who were both formidable Wyoming lawyers and vital members of their communities.
